Starting off, you will have forest foods available to you in the wilderness. However, these foods will not keep you full for long. You will need to find a more sustainable method of eating, such as hunting and fishing. But you will need a campfire to cook your catch, so make sure to gather the materials to craft one of those first!
You will also have access to water in the ocean, however it is detrimental to your health to drink it unless absolutely neccessary. Craft a waterskin and strainer to gather and filter the water over an open fire to purify it.
As for fatigue and health, getting plenty of rest is your best bet, however as time progresses you will get hungry so make sure to eat first. Else you may never wake up.
